HOW TO APPLY for the IHDF 2023 – 2024 Scholarships:

The College & Career Department is dedicated to helping students pursue their academic dreams of attending college or another post-secondary opportunity.  For any support or questions contact the College & Career team: college@ihaveadreamboulder.org or call the (303-444-3636 ext. 111).

Review the following details to be prepared to submit your application

    1. There is only one online application for all scholarships.
    2. The application is intuitive – it will provide questions based on your responses. Specifically for the scholarship you are applying for.
    3. It must be completed at one time, it does not save or allow you to return to where you may have stopped.
    4. If re-applying or are a Dreamer Scholar, you NEED a – DREAM ID, provided by the College & Career.
    5. This application must be submitted twice if you are planning on enrolling in the summer of 2023 and the fall of 2023.
      1. If you apply for the fall of 2023, this will auto-qualify you for the spring of 2024.

  • Information:
    • If re-applying you will need a Dream ID from the C&C team.
    • College attending information, including your student ID.
    • Social Security Number
  • Documentation to upload:
    • A file or screenshot of your Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) from FAFSA/CASFA is REQUIRED
      • Complete the FAFSA or CASFA (click here for a step-by-step CASFA guide from MSU Denver) – If not completed contact the College & Career team to help you complete and submit.
    • A file or screenshot of your unofficial transcription is REQUIRED

The 2023-2024 application is now available. The DEADLINE to apply is Friday, May 5, 2023.

If you qualify for the Dakota Soloman or Las Alas scholarships you are provided a space to answer the following:

  1. Describe a past experience in which you have shown leadership.
  2. What are your educational and career goals and aspirations?
  3. What strengths from your past experiences do you think will help you in college?
