Welcome to the “I Have A Dream” Volunteer Application
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with “I Have A Dream”!
Although we appreciate the interest shown by each potential volunteer, we cannot guarantee that we will have a position for everyone who wishes to give of their time to “I Have A Dream” Foundation of Boulder County. Occasionally, it may happen that we do not have a particular position that you may be looking for or we may be unable to currently utilize your particular skills. Should this happen, we will keep your file on hand for the next six months and contact you if a position more suitable to your skills becomes available.
Volunteer Enrollment Periods
To be a summer volunteer: Apply between February-May in the year you want to volunteer
To be a fall volunteer: Apply between June-August in the year you want to volunteer
To be a spring volunteer: Apply between September-January in the year you want to volunteer
Mentor applications are accepted Sept- April. Expect approximately a 6-8 week intake time.
(Note to mentor applicants only: We ask that mentors contribute $20 towards the cost of their
background checks. If you are unable to pay for your background check, assistance will be provided.)
